Accessibility
Last updated: September 10, 2026
We want everybody to be able to use this website and to enjoy the café. This page says what we have done, what we know is not perfect yet, and how to reach a human if something gets in your way.
In the café
The café is wheelchair accessible, with indoor seating. If you need a hand reaching anything at the frozen yogurt machines or the topping bar, or you would like someone to build a cup for you, just ask a member of staff. Nobody minds, and you do not need to explain why.
On this website
We aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 AA standard. Recent work on the site included:
- Raising the contrast of text that was too pale to read comfortably.
- Giving every sign-up box a proper label, so screen readers announce them correctly and browser autofill works.
- Adding a “skip to main content” link for people navigating by keyboard.
- Adding a visible outline that follows the keyboard around the page.
- Building the FAQ so it opens and closes with a keyboard and works even without JavaScript.
- Respecting your device’s “reduce motion” setting. If you have it on, animations here stop.
What is not perfect yet
We would rather be honest than claim more than we have earned. The site has not had a full independent accessibility audit, the home page is long to scroll on a phone, and a few controls are smaller than we would like. We are working on these.
If something blocks you
Please tell us. Email deckofflavors@outlook.com or call (224) 789-7969. Describe what you were trying to do and what happened. You do not need to know any technical terms.
If the website is in your way right now, call us. We will read you today’s flavors, tell you what is on the topping bar, take your details for rewards over the phone, or answer anything else the site was supposed to tell you.
Our commitment
We treat an accessibility problem as a real problem, not a nice-to-have. If you report one, we will tell you what we can fix and roughly when, and we will find another way to help you in the meantime.
